Fernando

Over the past couple of months, God has impressed upon both of us that He wants us to be intentional about discipleship. In our barrio there is an eleven-year-old boy named Fernando that we can already see the mark the Lord has put on his life. He is over every spare moment, and as with Jesus and his disciples, we intend to invite him to be a part of every area of our lives. We recently went to Masaya to meet with our boys, he went with us. When we run errands, he accompanies us. We have realized that as humans, and even as Christians, we tend to view our lives in compartments. We separate our job, from our family, from church, from whatever other things we may be involved in. God intended us to live relationally and he taught the disciples by example. They were invited to know him intimately. May we offer the same to those who are looking to us to know HIM. Here are some photos from our trip to Masaya...
