This past Sunday, was the 441st Anniversary of the Bible being translated into Spanish. Here in Diriamba, this is celebrated by the churches organizing a march and walking through the streets with their Bibles. The procession started at about 9 am and we walked until about 11 am ending in Central Park for a combined church service. It was very cool to see how serious they take this and how they celebrate it with such joy and thanksgiving. What a precious gift to have God's Living Word translated into your native tongue so that you can hear the Good News!

There were cars all decked out to join the procession as well. (pobrecita!)
As we marched through the streets of Diriamba, we sang worship songs and prayed over the city.
