Miguel

When Kari was in Nicaragua this past week, she found out that Jonathan's brother, Miguel, was very sick. He was 23 yrs old and was having kidney failure due to the excessive use of alcohol and drugs. He had been in the hospital, but the doctors had since sent him home saying there was nothing they could do - essentially they sent him home to die. When Kari was down there, he had been home for about a week and was unable to talk and having much difficulty even breathing. We have been praying for the Lord to provide healing in Miguel's body, knowing only He has the power to do so. We pray knowing if God chose not to heal him Miguel would be at home in heaven, as he had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We have since received news that Miguel has passed away. This is a sad time for us here on earth, but we can rejoice that Miguel is now home with Jesus and free from pain. It is going to be a rough road ahead for Jonathan and his family as they wrestle with the emotions and questions that come. Please keep them in your prayers.
